How to Get a Visa Georgia

Georgia has one of the simplest visa processes when it comes to international studying. All you have to do to get Georgian Study Visa is apply for it at the Embassy or Consulate in your home country or the nearest country.

Students need to apply for a Category D3 visa — A Study VISA. You’ll need to visit the embassy or consulate in person. As soon as you are accepted into a Georgia educational institution when you apply for the Georgia Student Visa, you will need the following:

  • Invitation Letter;
  • Bank statements from the past 6 months
  • Admission letter from the Georgian Ministry
  • International Passport (minimum valid for 2 years);
  • 4 passport size photos
  • Secondary School Certificate (endorsed with an Apostle Seal from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your homeland)
  • Birth certificate
  • Medical Insurance;
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Police Character Certificate

Please note that you need to prepare your VISA documents shortly after getting an Invitation Letter from the University of your choice. An Invitation Letter will help you get a Visa faster and without any additional document confirmations. The Visa full process takes about 10 working days.

Edugain Overseas team will consult you on which documents you should prepare to get the Visa and assist you with any questions you have. The specifics of the required documentation may vary among consulates, so we will help you confirm it on the consulate’s website.

Remember that the visa process might vary from country to country. It is advisable to check with the Embassy directly about the Visa Process in your home state. Stay in touch with our representatives online 24/7. In case we have our local company staff in the country of your citizenship, they will be glad to help you with the visa process.
