How to Get a Visa Poland

dots-decorate--blue

Visa Requirements for EU Citizens

If you have EU citizenship you do not need VISA to study in Poland!

If you are a citizen of an EU member state the only thing you need to enter Poland is a valid travel document or a document confirming identity and citizenship (national ID card).

Visa Requirements for Non-EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens

If you are not an EU/EEA/Swiss citizen you must get a Student Visa at the nearest Polish Embassy/Consulate in your country. We will help you to set a visa appointment with the consulate if needed. In most cases, you will have to register through the website: https://secure.e-konsulat.gov.pl/

Visa Process is highly advisable to start right after students receive the Invitation Letter from the Polish university of their choice. After arrival in Poland, the student must apply for a temporary residence permit, preferably 45 days before the visa expires to extend the stay.

Prepare the necessary documents:

  • Poland Visa Application Form;
  • Two passport-sized photos;
  • International Passport (minimum valid for 2 year);
  • Original Secondary School Certificate (endorsed with an Apostle Seal from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your homeland);
  • Medical insurance;
  • Proof of accommodation (document confirming the availability of appropriate housing for the intended period of stay in Poland);
  • Documents confirming the sufficient financial resources to cover costs of living and return travel to the country of origin or residence;
  • Proof of payment of the tuition for one year;
  • Original Invitation Letter;
  • Acceptance Letter;
  • Document proving your English or Polish language proficiency level (except country when English language is official);
  • Paid Visa fee receipt

The specifics of the required documentation may vary among consulates, so students should confirm it on the consulate’s website or ask their personal admission manager for assistance. It should take up to 15 days for it to be reviewed. Early submission of visa documents is advisable as in some cases procedure may take a considerable amount of time.

Remember that the visa process might vary from country to country. It is advisable to check with the Embassy directly about the visa process in your home state. Stay in touch with our representatives online 24/7. In case we have our local company staff in the country of your citizenship, they will be glad to help you with the visa process.
