About the Course 

Nursing Science involves a combination of concentrations covering Nursing Theory, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Technology. For nurses is necessary to consider the psychological, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical needs of patients. They also require great communication skills as they discuss sensitive issues with patients and their relatives daily.

The objective of the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at partner Universities in Georgia, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Poland is to train registered nurses to perform occupational duties working in close contact with the patient. Nurses must have both good interpersonal skills and be able to be involved in health care development. The Nursing Course focuses on an in-depth study of nursing theory, the practice of nursing, and the development of clinical skills.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing program at our partner Universities in Georgia, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Poland lasts for 3-3,5 years depending on the specialty and educational institution the student chooses. Studying processes and curriculums correspond to the Bologna Process standards and help in training future nursing specialists for professional practice in the broadly determined nursing discipline. The medium of instruction in all our partner Universities’ Nursing Courses is English.

University teaching staff during theoretical and practical classes uses specific modern teaching methods and equipment. Courses are taught in equipped laboratories where students have the ability to develop their skills in nursing procedures under simulated conditions. These skills are carried over into real-world situations during internships in various healthcare settings in fields including Primary Health Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Intensive Care, Rehabilitation, Neurology, Geriatrics, or Palliative Care.

The study of a Nursing Course means training young medical professionals to care for people and to assist them in gaining or regaining health and quality of life. Nurses are responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of medical orders and providing patients with the care they need.

The evaluation methods in our partner University studying programs may include:

• For theoretical courses: written exams, offering exercises in written reports or lecturing, oral exams, and computer interactive exams;
• Practical and clinical courses: observation of the clinical performance of the students during the program, objective structured clinical examination (OSCE), objective structured lab.

In case of successfully pass final examinations, the graduates are given the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. The curriculum provides for further postgraduate education. The awarded degree is a Bachelor of Nursing Science. 

Students who obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in Nursing are dealing with everything from training and supervising new nurses and students to acting as team leaders and delegating work.
