About Academy

Latvian Christian Academy was founded in 1993 in Jurmala, Latvia. It promotes socially-centered research by use of the integrative theology method with the goal to help people and society in general. The achieved results are integrated into all theological and social study courses.

Latvian Christian Academy offers high-quality education for over 200 students. Academy’s mission is to acknowledge students’ responsibility, devour themselves, and share interdisciplinary knowledge for the benefit of European society. Study programs are research-based and organized within an innovative interdisciplinary framework. The programs are flexible and use state-of-the-art ICT tools. 

On June 3, 2018, the Latvian Christian Academy was awarded EC Diploma Supplement Recognition Label (DS). The Label is given to those institutions of higher education that have excellent results in the implementation of the ECTS and DS systems. As a private, civic, and socially responsible educational establishment, Academy offers knowledge that responds to major challenges of European society.

Latvian Christian Academy cooperates with other universities, European research centers, and civic institutions to promote quality knowledge and develop new approaches fit for professional applications. Benefitting from international educational and research networks and platforms Academy works for the involvement of both students and teachers in innovative knowledge which grow from ancient anthropological traditions.
